Love the catappa leaves! They were easy to prepare for my aquarium and gave my tank such a nice warm and natural look! They are also healthy for my aquarium and I’m hoping they will help lower my pH. Highly recommend! :)

Great quality

Honestly I found Ben and bettabotanicals because of twigs, and when I found these and ordered them I fell in love. Bought enough the first time around to create a twig only substrate just to see if I could and not only haven't looked back but also went back for more. They're great as a near completely flat layer either horizontal or vertical object while submerged, a collected mass while floating and particially submerged and just nice tossed around. As a wood based product it has held up very well and is pliable enough while completely saturated but, is on the little on the delicate side while dry. Honestly if you want ot create root-like structures or need something for your nanotank that isn't massive and imposing like sticks tend to be or just want to try something new, give these a try, I'm sure you'll like it. And if in the end you grow tired of them, you can always just crush them and add them to your substrate so no real waste honestly.

As I've reccomended these along with the jambolan and marupa leaves for the aesthetic and texture, get them. They look very nice and fun. :))

They have a really neat shape and produce a lot of surface biofilm for its size. They do degrade on the faster side and if disturbed, will fall apart and become part of the substrate in due time. I like these and if you want a bomb for biofilm without putting your tank balance, and inhabitants, at risk, I'd say go for this. :))

I bought these because I wanted to have a portion of my tank to have a mulch-like look to it but, they've degraded into mulm faster than I expected. It's not a knock to the product honestly as if you are looking to create some mulm in a decent amount of time then I recommend getting this as well as some Cutch bark and some oak leaves (and crush the leaves as well before boiling) to really get the party going. :))

Round is a funny shape for a leaf and these hold their shape for a quite a long while. They look very nice and a long with the Loquat and Marupa leaves have a beautiful aesthetic together as well. They don't tint the water much, if at all really so if that's not your thing than, these leaves are a good choice.

If you grab these, I implore you to also grab the loquat and jambolan leaves if nothing else, together they create a nice aesthetic and leaves (haha) room for fry, shrimps, and some fishes to move around and about through. These leaves, a long with the others, hold their shape for a while and just honestly look really nice. Get them.

They don't seem to tint the water

What's more to say, the staple in botannical aquariums is a staple for a reason. They look nice, very plentiful and degrade decently quickly. It's very hard for me to not just chuck three handfulls of this stuff in my tank as whole leaves. I've gotten to a point where I'll crush a good handful or two and use it has food for my shrimps and fry and as a quick and effective way to create mulm based substrate. You also get A Lot of leaves so no matter what, you'll ALWAYS have oak leaves, if nothing else.
