2026 #TanninBae Brand Ambassadors of Betta Botanicals
Our ambassadors are at the heart of the movement, helping hobbyists understand the methods, benefits, and applications of the Botanical Method Aquarium. Each year, we welcome new voices into our year-long program, with selections announced every December for the following year.
If you’d like to collaborate with us on a one-time ecosystem build, we’re open to that too—simply send us an email or IG DM after submitting your application, and let us know you’re interested in a shorter partnership.
When choosing ambassadors, we look for individuals who have:
- Built a genuine community.
- Developed a recognizable content style.
- Shown inclusive values that strengthen the hobby.
We’re especially excited to work with thought leaders in aquatic and terrestrial animal husbandry—from fish to frogs—who are eager to educate and inspire new audiences through ecological storytelling. If you’ve mastered your craft and want to share it with the world, let’s get to work.

I focus on keeping reptiles, amphibians, and fish with a focus on naturalistic self-sustaining ecosystems. I prefer a hands-off approach, letting nature do its thing because a little algae never killed anyone. I am my happiest when I am taking care of my animals, and I love creating content about them and their enclosures! I keep all sorts of fun stuff....from fish, to newts, to frogs...and everything in between (even bugs!) I greatly enjoy building and designing aquariums and terrariums, and am a huge plant nerd too! I work at a local fish store, and I truly love my job so much. Much of my time is spent engaging with other hobbyists and sharing my favorite tips and tricks on topics like aquascaping and proper husbandry for different species of fish and animals. I currently have 5 fish tanks and 6 bioactive enclosures, housing 5 geckos and 1 snake. Our brand ambassadors are critical to venturing beneath the leaves in educating hobbyists on the methods, benefits, and applications of the botanical method aquarium. We welcome applications to our year-long program, with final decisions being made each November for the following year. If you would like to partner with us on a one-off ecosystem build, we welcome that as well. Please alert us to that via an email or IG DM that you have applied for a shorter collab.
