Twigs & Needles

In our bioactive vivariums & blackwater/biotope/botanical method aquariums we use various twigs and needles to help replicate a natural stream bed which you'd find in the wild habitats of our critters. Throughout the year, the forest canopy will shed branches and other natural materials into stream beds or during the wet season the water level will rise up into fallen trees on the bank.
